| The CSU/UC Transfer agreement
with Ohlone College requires a minimum of one (1) hour per week working
on the Laboratory exercises. 1. I understand that I CANNOT pass this course without successfully completing
this Laboratory requirement. I understand that in lieu of attending a
physical language laboratory on campus as an assigned class, I am able
to access the lab material at any time to complete the listening exercises
requirement at a reasonable rate. Incomplete labs are regarded as Laboratory
absences and I will not pass and/or will be dropped accordingly.
 2. I understand that I ought to stop the audio file and replay a section
in order to listen several times until I am able to get all of the information
I need. I do not expect to understand everything the first time I hear
a statement or a question. Therefore I should listen as many times as
is necessary for me to successfully complete the exercise. The computer
will record each attempt; I am free to make as many attempts as I need
or want in order to be successful.
 3. I understand that logging in from home or work is advantageous; however,
non-functioning home computers are not an excuse for lack of lab time:
I must use the Ohlone computers if I do not have the ability to log in
from home or work. Therefore I will not wait until the last minute to
attempt to complete the online exercises. I understand that I will not
receive grade credit for rushed and/or late work.
 4.
I know that the assignments and due dates are posted on the Quia virtual
        lab website at http://books.quia.com.
I understand that the due dates in the online lab & workbook assignments
are terminal end dates for accessing these activities. The due dates do
NOT indicate the date that I should begin these exercises and so I will
pace myself accordingly. 5. I understand that this course requires one hour of laboratory work
per week and so the Quia site tracks when I log in, the time spent listening
to each exercise, the answers I type in each attempt, the success of my
answers and the time I log out.
